Brewing Coffee, the old school way

Since I’m guessing most of you guys only use CofeeMaker machines to brew your coffee, I thought I’d post some photos of how coffee is brewed in thousands of homes in Costa Rica. And believe me, we know what we’re doing when it comes to coffee.
You just need: A coffee brewing bag. Boiling water. Good Costa Rican cofee.
Boil some water. Add like 5 large spoons of coffee inside the bag (for 2 people) so that it’ll come out really strong and tasty. Pour the boiling water. Drink it while it’s hot.

oh my goodness… you know i was just telling michael this morning that we needed a bunn coffee maker… it brews coffee like in seconds, because it has a reserve of water already hot and it starts instantly, as soon as you pour more water in…. just like Americans, to want everything convenient and fast and right now!! it makes me a little naseaus now when i read this post that i wanted a bunn…. and they cost a fortune too. ah… the simple things in life – they really are more beautiful.

Nah, you should not feel bad for wanting fast coffee. Anything that gets coffee into your system should be considered good.
I have this little KRUPS expresso machine. It’s really good. But I want to get a new one someday. Get some awsome expresso going on.
