Freelance work and a lesson

So thank God me and a friend have been hired to do the website development for ICOSEX (Costarican Institute of Sexuality). They’re the guys who are in charge of most of the sexual education that’s being done in the country. It’s amazing worldwide how poor the knowledge of sexual education people have. In Costa Rica it’s no different of course.
One thing I can learn from them? Their focus in on “good practices” for sexually active people intead of the consequences of “bad practices.” They focus on what to do instead of what not to do.
A living example of this is Rob Bell. (At least from what I’ve listened to). During the past month and a half I’ve been able to hear 4 of his sermons. His focus has always been on what we should be doing instead of what we should be avoiding.
Confusius said “Don’t to to others what you don’t want them to do to you.” This is surely a very wise saying, but his words are based on a don’t. Jesus said “Do to others what you want them to do to you.” This of course is based on a do.
